Over the ages……

It’s more than just a game for CEC, it’s our legacy!

The Intra-IHRD football tournament of College of Engineering Chengannur, CAMPION is a five’s football extravaganza that brings together all the colleges under the IHRD fraternity to pray for the crown of glory at the CEC grounds.
CAMPION came into existence in the year 2006, and since then it was a success story that CEC was always proud of. The glory of the game spread out and the tournament crown is among the most challengeable ones, and the first of its kind in the IHRD community. It’s a few days of sporting glory, a few days off from the tiring academic schedules and enliven the campus with shouts and cheers of ‘Eey pistaa…’. The beautiful game has quite a large number of followers around.

The Fifth edition of the event CAMPION ’10, is all set to roll out in the days to come. The 2011 batch of the college is promising the very best, a tournament of such magnitude CEC has never witnessed! This time around, we’ve nine teams competing for the crown. CEC brings out its best team to get hold of the honor.
